Tussa silk is obtained from the cocoons of wild silkworms. Tussa has a number of differences from mulberry silk. Has a natural color. which depends on the nutrition of the caterpillar. White to light brown. Cocoons for yarn are used after the butterfly has hatched. Correspondingly, the length of the thread is shorter. This type of tussah is characterized by a large thickness of the thread. The presence of thickenings that differ in color from the main yarn, which makes it unique and gives a special scarf.
Tussa silk is hotter than mulberry. Therefore, it is not suitable for wearing in extreme heat in summer.
The yarn is dry, tenacious and does not slip.
The sling scarf can be a bit stiff. But will become significantly softer in the process of wearing.
